Kayı Tribe benefited greatly from the conquest of the Balkans during the founding period of the Ottomans. They settled here in Vardar Plain and Kaza-i Cuma. They settled in many villages in Turkey, especially Ankara, Çankırı, Eskişehir, Orhaneli, Isparta and Burdur. The ancestors of the Ottoman sultans are also Kayı Tribe.
