Our Indonesian Sumatra beans are processed with a special process unique to Indonesia called Wet-Hulled or Giling Basah. Due to the high relative humidity of the air, the coffee beans dried in the parchment layer to 35% moisture are separated from the parchment layer (hulling, wet-hulled) at this high humidity, unlike the traditional washed process. The raw bean is still high in moisture and the green bean is laid out and dried until it reaches 12% moisture.
This seed, grown in the Batak mountainous lands and carefully classified, fascinates drinkers with its sweet red fruit aroma and guarantees a pleasant drink with its long-lasting palate and full body. Sweetness, body and balance are at the forefront.
