Salt Grinder

The grinder mechanism is made of alloy stainless steel, which prevents the formation of rust.
It is specially produced for dry salt crystals (sea salt and rock salt), allowing them to be reduced to a fine powder.

Which salt can be used?
For optimal operation of the salt mill, Peugeot recommends using salt with a diameter of 4 millimeters or less.
The grinder is adapted for dry sea salt or ground salt (rock salt). Do not use wet types of salt, such as sea salt or Guérande salt, which easily absorb moisture and increase the risk of corrosion in the grinder.

Pepper Grinder

Grinding mechanism made of steel with patented process, which protects against rust and maintains sharpness and wear resistance.
The grinder has a double row of spiral teeth that guide the grains towards the bottom and also prevent them from falling before they are fully ground.

Which pepper can be used?
For optimal operation of the pepper grinder, Peugeot recommends using peppercorns with a diameter of 5 millimeters or less.
The grinder is adapted to black, white, green and also red peppers if mixed with one of the other 3 pepper types (max. 15% red pepper).

Using the Grinder

Turn the top screw counterclockwise to grind coarser. Turn the top screw clockwise to grind finer.
Always turn clockwise when grinding.
Do not change the salt and pepper as the grinding steel is an all-purpose alloy. If the pepper grinder has been used for salt, for example, it may rust and this is not covered by the warranty. Salt grinders damaged by faulty salt are also out of warranty.
Store the grinder dry. It cannot be washed in the dishwasher.
