Product or Natural Stone Description

Jade is a hard, precious stone that has been used for centuries in making jewelry and small sculptures, and is most commonly found in green color. The most valuable ones are emerald jade and Burmese jade. In addition to being mostly green and its shades, when used as jewelry, black, grey, red and blue colors give jade special names. The richest jade deposits in the world are located in Burma, China, New Zealand and Mexico. Jade has been obtained for a long time near Hotan, Yarkand, Turkestan and Lake Baikal. Chinese, Buddha and Aztec small sculptures and works of art made of jade are exhibited in museums. The use of jade as an art raw material stems from its tightly interlocked crystal structure. This feature allows very fine carving work to be done on jade. Since it is much harder than marble, it is resistant to climatic conditions.
