The symbol of the Kayi tribe is two arrows and a bow. Kayı Khan, whose father was Gün Han and whose grandfather was Oğuz Khan, is known as the first ancestor of this tribe. Kayı Tribe benefited greatly from the conquest of the Balkans during the founding period of the Ottomans. They settled here in Vardar Plain and Kaza-i Cuma. They settled in many villages in Turkey, especially Ankara, Çankırı, Eskişehir, Orhaneli, Isparta and Burdur. The ancestors of the Ottoman sultans are also Kayı Tribe.
