PRODUCT INFORMATION: Coffee has been grown in El Salvador since the 1850s. It produces complex and superior quality coffee beans with the contribution of volcanic soils. The Apaneca-llamatepec mountain range is the largest coffee growing area in the country. Sweet and high-quality coffee beans are produced here. This area is very close to the Santa Ana volcano. Bourbon, Pacas and Pacamara varieties are usually grown. In this region, coffee can be grown at altitudes between 500 and 2300 meters. Beans grown at altitudes of 1200 meters and above can receive the SHG (Strictly High Grown) label.
