Product or Natural Stone Description

Catalin (Catalin) is a brand of phenol formaldehyde material that was patented for the first time in 1927 by the "American Catalin Corporation" company in New York, USA, and has transparent and translucent properties, produced in all colors. It was highly preferred in the production of consumer goods between 1930 and 1950. It is a heat-resistant, hard material. When heated, it gives off a phenolic odor due to its structure. Catalin is more colorless than bakelite types. Its colorlessness allowed it to be painted in vibrant colors or designed in a moiré manner. Catalin material is a material that was produced in the past and has no continuity today.
